Brief activity overview:

Description:

The Cubs, Scouts & Venturers will be participating in Bushcare activities at The Crescents Reserve in Randal Crescent, North Rocks. The Bushcare activity is managed by City of Parramatta Council staff and includes local resident volunteers. This activity is limited to 6 youth members each month.

This activity will contribute 2.5 hours to the Environment Special Interest Area (SIA). The minimum effort required to complete the Environment SIA is:

• Cubs - 4 hours (2x Bushcare activities)
• Scouts - 8 hours (4x Bushcare activities)
• Venturers - 12 hours (6x Bushcare activities)

The planned Bushcare activities for 2026 are as follows:

• 10 October (note this is during the school holidays)
• 14 November
• 12 December

Wear:

• Scout shirt and scarf
• Hat
• comfortable pants
• comfortable closed in shoes

Bring:

Day pack containing:-

• drink bottle
• gardening gloves
• rain coat
• snacks (optional)
